Terms of use
These terms cover your use of shelterbeltintel.com. They are not the service agreement: if you become a client, a separate written agreement governs the work itself, and it takes precedence over anything here.
Last updated: 16 August 2026.
This site is operated by Colin Coakwell, sole proprietor, operating as Shelterbelt, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. "We" and "us" mean that person. Contact: hello@shelterbeltintel.com.
You may read this site and use its contact form. Please don't: submit anyone else's email address, use the form to send unlawful, abusive, or deceptive content, attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems, or use automated means to flood the form. We rate-limit submissions and block abuse; we may decline to respond to, or delete, any submission.
Everything here is general information about a service. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance, and submitting the form does not create a contract, an engagement, or any obligation on either of us. A client relationship begins when we agree on a report and its fee. The written service agreement that governs that work is delivered with the report and takes precedence over anything here.
Nothing here is legal advice, and nothing here is advice about your specific situation. We are a research and analysis service, not a law firm and not a licensed adviser of any kind.
Any sample report, dashboard panel, or worked example on this site is illustrative. It is there to show the shape and tone of the product, not to state facts about any real business, and it is not a prediction of what your own results would look like.
We do not guarantee any rating, review count, ranking, search position, lead volume, or business outcome, and nothing on this site should be read as promising one. Reputation depends overwhelmingly on the work a business does for its customers. Our service reads and interprets what the public says about that work; it does not manufacture it. We also do not control the review platforms, and cannot guarantee that any particular platform will remain available or complete.
Google, Facebook, HomeStars, TrustedPros, BBB and any other platform or business names used on this site are the trade marks of their owners, used only to describe factually where public information is read from or which businesses are discussed. Their use implies no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from any of them, and we are not partnered with or authorized by any review platform.
The text, design, and graphics of this site are ours. You may read, quote briefly with attribution, and link to them. Please don't republish the site or substantial parts of it as your own, or use it to train a model.
When you send us your email address you are asking us to reply. You keep everything you send; you give us only what we need to answer you. How we handle it — including how to make us delete it — is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
This site is provided as-is and as-available. We may change, suspend, or withdraw it, or any part of it, at any time without notice. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website, including indirect, incidental, or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — which in Saskatchewan includes liability for fraud and for consumer protections that apply regardless of what a website says.
This clause concerns the website only. If you engage us, the liability terms of the signed service agreement govern that work instead.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Saskatchewan have jurisdiction.
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated version.
Questions about any of this: hello@shelterbeltintel.com. This page is written in plain English on purpose, and it is not legal advice.
